DISSOLVING OF TELCO COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS CORPORATION
A special meeting of the members of the Telco Community Volunteers will be held on April 22nd, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. to vote to voluntarily dissolve the
corporation effective June 30th, 2020.
This meeting is a requirement of the Canada Not-For-Profit Corporation Act.
The reason for the closure of the Telco Community Volunteers as an entity is quite simple. The fund created at the behest of Pauline Baxter Moore will
run out of money by June 30th, 2020.
Therefore, the Corporation Telco Community Volunteers created to manage the fund, will no longer be required and
must be dissolved as a Not-For-Profit entity.
This does not mean the individual clubs will close. It means that the subsidy monies will no longer be available. Each club will make their own
decision to continue or not.
Each paid member of Telco Community Volunteers will receive individual notification either by e-mail or Canada Post concerning the meeting and the closure
of the Telco Community Volunteer Corporation. This information package will be distributed during the months of February and March by your club.

Knitting Cat Blankets
Cast on 50 stitches and knit 50 rows to make a 12” x 18” cat blanket.
Bearing in mind the weight of the of the wool (yarn) you use,
the number of knitted or crocheted rows could vary using the 18” guideline.
Anyone who is willing to make these “cat
blankets” is an absolute blessing to our Community Project.
Thanks to all who continue this good work.
